Love, Love, and some more Love

We have enjoyed our first two weeks of summer and really haven't wasted a second. Besides the usual library, playdates, and park visits, we've been able to take the boat out and take the little ones tubing. We've spent a few days at Grandpa's pool. Besides doing all activities before 7 in the morning, the water is my best chance to make it through these 100+ degree days with my two energetic kids and this watermelon of a belly of mine.

We have also had fun making all kinds of surprises for Jason for Father's day. We made him some delicious meals and treats along with plenty of rest and relaxation. Our favorite thing was making these little cookie hamburgers made from Nilla Wafers and Grashopper cookies with colored coconut for lettuce and colored frosting for the ketchup and mustard.

I really appreciate what a wonderful Father Jason really is. He honestly does so much for the kids and I. He does so much around the house. I doubt that there is anything that he wouldn't do for us. Really, we are so lucky to have him.

We also celebrated our anniversary this week. We went to the Temple and to dinner. It was really so nice to be able to be together and appreciate all the love and time and effort that we have put into the last 8 years of marriage.

Although we can't go very far for these next 8 weeks, we still have a few fun plans up our sleeves. We are going to enjoy a few more Giant's games, my sister will be in town working for a few weeks, lots more swimming and boating days, and maybe a few pedicures and naps to get me through with a bigger smile on my face.
