Of course the fun trip to the Pumpkin patch is not complete without some random hot weather. At least it wasn't raining like crazy which is exactly what it did the week before Halloween.

Halloween Parade at Andrew's school was pretty fun. Him and his friend both dressed as Batman. He's the 2nd Batman from the left.

We decided to take the kids to Downtown Auburn where all the businesses allow the children to come Trick or Treat on Friday. So perfect. Limited walking for the little ones. It started at 2 which was a great time to go.

Saturday we had another rainy soccer game and a dutch oven cookout and a trunk or treat. Yum. The weather mostly cooperated.

Sunday was a mellow day. We made carmel apples. Andrew rolled his in Nerds, Leah chose M & M's, Jason did peanuts, and I chose butterfinger. Yummy. We made chili and scones, a tradition that Jason's mom passed on to us. We also carved our pumpkins since we hadn't had a chance to do it yet.
